JINAN, China, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Diego Tardelli scored twice as Shandong Luneng beat Beijing Guoan 3-0 in the first round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) new season here on Sunday night.
Cedric Bakambu, who has completed his transfer from Villarreal of Spanish La Liga, made his debut for Beijing, but was unable to open his scoring account from the match.
Tardelli scored an easy opener for Shandong off a corner kick in the 29th minute, and the Brazilian forward celebrated his second goal two minutes later.
In the 44th minute, Jin Pengxiang of Beijing Guoan was sent off for his second yellow card.
Wu Xinghan's header in the 82nd minute hit the left post, but he soon scored the third goal for Shandong and sealed the victory six minutes before the final whistle.
In another first round match, Alex Teixeira scored two goals to help visiting Jiangsu Suning edge Guizhou Hengfeng 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
