Dollar inches down to near 106 yen on concerns over U.S. trade policy

TOKYO, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell close to the 106 yen line on Thursday in Tokyo amid renewed concerns over trade policy of the United States.

The dollar was quoted at 106.08-09 yen at 5 p.m., compared with 106.28-38 yen in New York and 106.60-61 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday. It moved between 105.79 yen and 106.36 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2369-2370 dollars and 131.21-25 yen against 1.2363-2373 dollars and 131.48-58 yen in New York and 1.2388-2389 dollars and 132.06-10 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
