During her long-term medical practice, Du believes that a complete medical service system is indispensable to basic social security. In her spare time, she often provides free diagnosis for people in communities, raising their awareness of health. As a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Du is dedicated to promotion of the primary medical service.
