WUHAN, March 31 (Xinhua) -- The 7th World military Games Committee said it has already received over 300 pieces of works about theme anthem and promoting songs.
The Committee said it has started the theme song and promoting song collection since Jan. 29 this year and now received over 300 pieces of works including 30 pieces of music,50 pieces of demos,230 pieces of lyrics.
The deputy secretary general of the committee,director of the Wuhan Municipal Sports Bureau,Wang Shenshun introduced,the works should convey the concept of sharing friendship and building peace,also highlighting the main characteristics of military athletes and their strong will. What's more, it should bear the cultural characteristics of hosting city Wuhan.
The activity will end on April 20. The Committee will choose 20 outstanding pieces with the winners of theme song and promoting song getting up to 100,000 yuan. The winners of lyrics will get 30,000 yuan.
The 7th World Military Games will be held in Wuhan, Hubei province from October 18 to 27, 2019.
