KUNMING, April 14 (Xinhua) -- More than 30 kg of methamphetamine has been seized in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local police said Saturday.
One suspect was detained, and one SUV and 66 bottles containing a total of 30.78 kg of meth were confiscated in Mengla County Sunday.
According to the police, the suspect caught their attention after being found in close contact with a man in Myanmar.
Yunnan is a major front in the battle against drug crime, as it borders the notorious Golden Triangle, known for its rampant narcotics production and trafficking.
