LUANDA, April 20 (Xinhua) -- 1º de Agosto defeated Petro de Luanda by 89-77 Thursday evening in the Kilamba Arena in the fifth round match of the 4th stage of the regular season of the national senior men's basketball championship (Unitel-Basket).
In a clash of unpredictable results, judging by technical and tactical quality of the two teams, 1º de Agosto's players showed more determination to win the game, and at the half-time the team led the match by 45-40.
This is the fourth time that 1º de Agosto beat Petro in this Unitel Basket.
With the win, 1º de Agosto consolidated its leadership of the competition, with 65 points, while Petro remains third with 57 points.
