HONG KONG, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went down 48 Hong Kong dollars to open at 12,410 dollars (about 1,582.52 U.S. dollars) per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society. (1 U.S. dollar equals to 7.84 HK dollars)
