ANKARA, May 5 (Xinhua) -- Turkey's capital Ankara was hit by flood following heavy rain in Saturday afternoon, injuring at least four people.

"Four people have been injured. Three of them are being treated at a hospital. Health condition of the injured is not serious," Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security Julide Sarieroglu told reporters in Ankara.

She also said that about 164 vehicles were damaged by the sudden flood, while nobody dead in the disaster.

The government would access the risk situation and take necessary precautions as soon as possible, the minister added.

Earlier, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Tuna said the flood only hit Mamak district of Ankara, and the other districts in the city were not under risk.
