BEIRUT, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri's chief of staff Nader Hariri resigned from all his positions on Saturday.
Saad Hariri has decided to appoint his public relations manager Mohamed Mneimne as the acting chief of staff, the prime minister's office said in a statement.
As Hariri's cousin and his close adviser, Nader Hariri played a key role in achieving the political settlement that ended Lebanon's 29-month-long presidential vacuum in October 2016, with Michel Aoun elected as the president and Saad Hariri appointed as the prime minister.
