Pic story: rural entrepreneur Liu Jie and his lawn planting business

Aerial photo taken on May 12, 2018 shows members of the lawn planting cooperative working on the lawn at Xiaomazhuang Village of Cangxian County, north China's Hebei Province. Less than 1.2 meters in height, 36-year-old Liu Jie, a villager born in Cangxian County, has a disability from his childhood. In 2009, the broad prospects in commercial lawn planting inspired Liu, which led him to the road of starting a business on it. Despite many setbacks, Liu never gave up in his business. In 2015, Liu set up a lawn planting cooperative, in which local villagers were employed and motivated to engaging in the lawn planting as a source of income. (Xinhua/Mu Yu)
