HOHHOT, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Judokas from the Netherlands, South Korea and Japan won gold medals on the second day of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Hohhot Grand Prix here on Saturday.
Two-time Judo Grand Slam winner Aimi Nouchi from Japan won the women's -63kg contest. She defeated Israel's Gili Sharir after the injured Israeli pulled off from the final.
Sanne Van Dijke won the title in the women's -70kg competition for the Netherlands after defeating Canadian Kelita Zupancic.
Japanese world champion Soichi Hashimoto was beaten by world bronze medallist An Changrim from South Korea in the men's -73kg category.
IJF Grand Prix newcomer Takeshi Sasaki from Japan stunned Russia's Olympic champion Khasan Khalmurzaev within 65 seconds in the final of the men's -81kg category.
Another five categories will be held on Sunday during the three-day Grand Prix.
