DOHA, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Qatar's Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics has launched the Permanent Population Committee website to publish data on the country's population policy, Qatar-based newspaper The Peninsula reported Sunday.
The new website will focus on publishing the progress in the implementation of the population policy, allowing society to view the principles and objectives of population policy, the report said.
According to Minister of Development Planning and Statistics, Saleh Mohammed Salem Al Nabit, the new website with advanced technology will help decision makers in government institutions, civil society organizations and so on as part of the unified quest for sustainable population development.
