SINGAPORE, June 10 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Singapore Sunday evening for a summit meeting with Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Capella Hotel on Singapore's Sentosa Island on Tuesday. It will be the first meeting between a sitting U.S. president and a DPRK top leader.
Trump will meet with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday, according to a press release from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Kim Jong Un arrived in Singapore earlier on Sunday and has met with Lee Hsien Loong.
