TEHRAN, June 20 (Xinhua) -- The first edition of Medex Deutsche Messe Woodworking Exhibition, known as "MEDEX 2018", is slated to open in Tehran on July 10, Financial Tribune daily reported on Wednesday.
The international event will be held within the framework of a memorandum of understanding between Iran Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters Association and the German company Deutsche Messe.
The event will host prominent global ventures in the field and provide the platform to boost the export of Iranian furniture and wood products.
The event is scheduled to conclude on July 13, said the report.
Deutsche Messe is the operating company for the Hanover Fairground based in the city of Hanover, Germany. It is the largest trade fair operator in Germany and was founded in 1947.
