ANKARA, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Preliminary results showed Turkey's incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won 52.7 percent of votes in the presidential race with 96.5 percent of votes counted, state-run Anadolu Agency said Sunday.
Erdogan's main presidential rival, Muharrem Ince of the main opposition Republican People's Party, stood at 30.7 percent.
In the parliamentary contest, the ruling Justice and Development Party had 42.5 percent of votes with 96.5 percent of votes counted.
