Herdsmen transfer livestock to summer pastures on Barlik Mountain, NW China's Xinjiang

The family hostel composed of three yurts will see monthly income of about 5,000 yuan (758 U.S. dollars) in the upcoming peak tourist season. Local herdsmen have transferred their livestock to summer pastures on the Barlik Mountain since late June and will stay here until September. Local authorities has devoted efforts in recent years to protect the ecological environment on the pasture and upgrade driveways to improve the infrastructure construction in the pasturing area.
