VIENNA, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The growth of Austria economy is likely to slow down, the Austrian Institute of Economic Research said on Friday.
The institute forecast that the economic growth of Austria is to slow down to around 2 percent in 2019 due to increasing protectionism risk in international trade. The peak of the economic growth could already be passed.
The economic growth of Austria is supported by domestic demand and foreign trade, and the institute sees "increased uncertainty about the economic conditions abroad" and thus more downside risks than in March.
