TIRANA, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Two Turkish nationals trying to cross border with false documents were arrested by border police in Muriqan border point of Shkodra, northwest Albania, police officials announced on Sunday.
The officials said the arrested were both residents in Turkey.
"Their arrest was made because during the process of leaving Albania in the border point of Muriqan, they had Romanian identity card documents which are suspected of being falsified," the announcement read.
The case will be further investigated by the Prosecutor's Office of the First Instance Court of Shkodra, for the criminal offense "Forgery of Identity Cards, Passports or Visas".
