RIYADH, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Saudi air forces on Friday intercepted a ballistic missile fired by Houthi militias toward the border city of Jazan, local online news Sabq reported.
Many Saudi areas, mainly border cities, have been targeted with missiles and projectiles by Houthi rebels in response to the war led by Saudi Arabia in support of the exiled Yemeni government.
The Saudi-led coalition has made a progress in its military operations to force the militias to withdraw from Hodeidah in Yemen, forcing more than 121,000 people to flee the city due to attacks by the coalition, according to a new UN report.
