SINGAPORE, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 1.42 percent or 46.01 points to close at 3274.83.
A total of 2.41 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.45 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.07 billion U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 271 to 131.
