TEHRAN, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday that Iran is "the most reliable and safest market" for foreign investments, official IRNA news agency reported.
Referring to the U.S. financial and economic pressures against Iran, Zarif said that the Islamic republic has experienced many difficulties since the victory of Islamic revolution in 1979, and the Iranian people have been the ardent supporters of the country in the face of pressures.
Imposing pressures may cause negative impact in the market, but private sector has always managed to tackle the problems, he made the remarks at a meeting with foreign representatives in Iran.
Zarif encouraged foreign investors to actively enter Iran's market.
The U.S. State Department announced last month that the United States had been pushing its allies to stop oil imports from Iran by Nov. 4.
Some of the international companies which also signed major deals with Iran in energy, transportation and auto industries following the 2015 nuclear deal have announced to leave Iran due to the U.S. punishment.
