TUNIS, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes Ferreira will pay an official visit to Tunisia this Friday, to strengthen ties with Tunisia, Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thursday.
Ferreira will discuss with Tunisian leaders on strengthening bilateral cooperation on the inauguration of Tunisian-Brazilian Business Forum, as well as agreements on education, defense and investment.
This visit will also be an opportunity for Tunisia to explore potentials for cooperation with BRICS, the ministry said.
A cooperation agreement was signed between Tunisia and Brazil in the fields of defense in April of 2017.
