RABAT, July 20 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) on Friday strongly condemned Israel's approval of the "Jewish nation-state" law, which considers Israel as the state of the Jewish people and Jerusalem as capital.
The legislation, sparking outrage of Israel's Arab community, strips Arabic of its designation as an official language, downgrading it to a "special status" to allow its use in Israeli institutions.
Deeming it as "racist," ISESCO said this law is "a declaration of war against the Palestinian people and a denial of its existence and legitimate rights in its land."
ISESCO called on the international community to reject this "false racist law."
