ALGIERS, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Algerian-Brazilian bilateral strategic dialogue was held on Monday in Algiers to boost bilateral partnership in all fields.
The meeting was co-chaired by visiting Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes and his Algerian counterpart, Abdelkader Messahel.
The two countries are seeking through this meeting to identify new investment projects and partnership programs of mutual benefit.
It was also an opportunity for the two nations to discuss regional and international issues of common interest to coordinate views and positions in the international arena.
Brazil and Algeria vowed to strengthen and diversify economic partnership in areas including energy, health, trade, public works, agriculture, social development as well as education and scientific research.
Brazil's Ambassador to Algeria Eduardo Botelho Barbosa said his country could contribute to the revival of Algeria's industry and is willing to offer its expertise in the fields of mines, iron and steel.
Algeria is interested in the Brazilian experience in terms of the manufacture of components and spare parts of cars, given that the North African nation has already established several car assembly plants in partnership with some international brands.
