The combined photo taken on July 22, 2018 shows workers at the construction site of a resettlement site for relocated residents from poor areas in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The resettlement project, started in July 2016, is planned to help over 8,000 impoverished villagers to relocate. Due to harsh environmental conditions, Rongshui has long been a less developed area in China. Up to now, there are still 76,800 impoverished people living in the county. In recent years, the local government carries out effective methods for poverty alleviation, helping local people to build roads, repair houses, improve education and develop industry.
