MEXICO CITY, July 31 (Xinhua) -- An Aeromexico plane crashed in the northern Mexican state of Durango, local media reported on Tuesday.
"Aeromexico has learned of the accident in Durango and we are working to verify the information and obtain details," the airline said via Twitter.
Local reports said the plane, which was carrying more than 100 passengers, plummeted five minutes after taking off from the General Guadalupe Victoria International Airport in the state capital.
