TEHRAN, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Iran Air said the Franco-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR will deliver five more turboprops to Iran on Sunday.
The ATR 72-600 will land at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport on Sunday morning, the flag carrier of Iran noted.
Flight licenses have been issued for the ATR passenger planes to join Iran Air's fleet, it added.
In April 2017, Iran Air signed a contract with ATR to purchase 20 short-haul passenger jets worth 576 million U.S. dollars, of which eight have been delivered and deployed in domestic flights.
