Police confirm 20 dead in plane crash in Swiss Alps

GENEVA, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- A vintage small plane crashed on Saturday in the Swiss Alps in canton Graubunden, killing all the 20 people on board, local police confirmed Sunday.

Local police told a press briefing that except for a couple from Austria and their son, all the other passengers were Swiss.

Also according to police source, another aircraft went down near the Swiss town of Hergiswil earlier on Saturday morning, killing a family of four.
