BEIJING, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Guoan beat Jiangsu Suning 3-1 on Friday in the 17th round Chinese Super League.
With the victory, Beijing Guoan has extended its unbeaten streak to 16 rounds.
In the 22nd minute, Zhang Xizhe scored the opener for Beijing Guoan. Neither side was able to score a goal for a long time before Lei Tenglong expanded the gap for the home with a header in the 52nd minute.
Jiangsu Suning pulled back one goal in the 78th minute with an own goal from Guoan's unfortunate Zhang Yu, but Spanish striker Jonathan Viera Ramos' late goal in the 82nd minute extinguished Suning's hope.
In other games played on Friday, Dalian Yifang beat Guangzhou R&F 3-0, Tianjin Teda edged Henan Jianye 2-0.
