BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- A former senior legislator of central China's Henan Province was investigated for suspected serious violations of Party disciplinary rules and law, according to the top anti-graft agency Friday.
Wang Tie, former vice chairman of the Henan Provincial People's Congress, has turned himself in and been investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission, said the CCDI statement.
