DUBAI, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Saturday sent a message of congratulations to his Uruguayan counterpart Tabare Vazquez over the Independence Day of the South American country, official news agency WAM reported.
Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar messages to the Uruguayan president over the occasion.
Since April 2018, UAE citizens can travel visa-free to the Latin American country.
