TOKYO, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar fetched 111.14-15 yen compared with 111.06-16 yen in New York and 110.80-81 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, was quoted at 1.1598-1598 dollars and 128.90-94 yen against 1.1600-1610 dollars and 128.93-129.03 yen in New York and 1.1683-1684 dollars and 129.45-49 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
