17 dead, 12 injured as two trains collide in southern Angola

LUANDA, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- At least 17 people were killed and 12 others injured on Tuesday morning in a collision involving a rail maintenance train and a freight train in Bibala, a municipality in Angola's southern Namibe province, local authorities said.

Emergency crew on site said the death toll could go up and that there are still victims stranded in the trains.
