PRAGUE, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- A small Robinson helicopter crashed on Wednesday afternoon in Plzen, Czech Republic, killing three men and one woman, said Martin Brejcha, spokesman for the emergency service.

The accident occurred at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday. Two persons suffered injuries incompatible with life and died at the site. Another two members of the crew died despite all the efforts of the rescuers, said Brejcha.

The helicopter crashed on a production shop, fortunately there was no one in the shop and the company plant at the time of the crash, said firefighters spokesman Petr Poncar.

The helicopter remained hanging on the construction of the shop and partly falling through it. Poncar said some liquids leaked from the helicopter, but the leak was not big, and there would not be any danger for a fire. He said the firefighters, after consultation with the Institute for Air Accident Investigation, will stabilize the building and then rescue the helicopter.

A statics expert, who has checked the building, said there was no threat that the construction might fall.
