2 injured in helicopter crash in Istanbul

ISTANBUL, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Two people were injured on Thursday when a civil helicopter crashed in the Marmara Sea south of Istanbul.

According to CNNTurk, the injured were rushed to a hospital nearby, with one in critical condition.

The broadcaster said the helicopter lost altitude rapidly before crashing into the sea.

The cause of the accident is yet unknown.
