MINSK, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed decrees on concluding intergovernmental agreements with China on the implementation of projects of technical and economic assistance for the construction of National Football Stadium and International Standard Pool, the press service of the head of state said on Friday.
The Belarusian leader approved the draft letters of the Belarusian side and authorized the Economy Ministry to sign them, the press service said.
In June 2018, the former Belarusian Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky signed the intergovernmental agreement on technical and economic aid during his working visit to China, local media reported.
The agreement provides for granting gratuitous aid to the amount of 800 million yuan (116.85 million U.S. dollars) to implement a series of investment projects in Belarus, including construction of the National Football Stadium, a world-class swimming pool and other projects.
