WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Chicago Bulls announced on Saturday that their forward Lauri Markkanen will miss at least six weeks with a right elbow sprain.
Markkanen, from Finland, was the seventh overall pick in last year's draft and enjoyed a fine rookie season, averaging 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds in 68 games.
Chicago said the 21-year-old suffered the injury during practice on Thursday.
