TEHRAN, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- The missile attack by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) on the "terrorists" hideouts in Syria on Monday proved Iran's determination to fight terrorism, an Iranian spokesman said.
The world witnessed Iran's resolve in dealing with terrorism through its missile attack in the east of the Euphrates in Syria, said Bahram Qasemi, spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Earlier in the day, the IRGC announced that it targeted terrorists' bases in Syria on Monday morning with six surface-to-surface missiles and seven drones.
The attack came in response to the Sept. 22 terror attack on a military parade in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, in which at least 25 Iranians were killed and dozens others injured.
