BEIRUT, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Israeli warplanes conducted mock raids on Sunday over villages in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.
The planes flew over the town of Nabatieh and nearby villages such as Bint Jbeil and Marjeyoun.
The mock raids came one week after an Israeli drone destroyed one of Israel's spying devices in south Lebanon near the town of Zrarieh.
Israeli warplanes have kept violating Lebanon's airspace in the past few months, prompting Lebanese President Michel Aoun to call on the United States to pressure Israel to stop such practices.
