TRIPOLI, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Libyan Red Crescent on Thursday recovered 13 unidentified bodies in the eastern city of Darna.
The Libyan Red Crescent said it recovered eight bodies in the Al-Maghar neighborhood after receiving a notification from local authorities.
The remaining five bodies were recovered in downtown Darna and had been taken to a local hospital.
Darna was taken over in July by the eastern-based army, led by General Khalifa Haftar, after defeating armed groups accused of being loyal to terror group al-Qaeda.
The city still witnesses clashes in a narrow area between the army and the last fortresses of the terrorists in Al-Maghar neighborhood.
