VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- A gas explosion rocked a five-storey residential house in Russia's Far Eastern Jewish Autonomous Region on Tuesday morning, leaving five people injured, including a toddler, local news reported.
About 120 people were evacuated from the building. The fire caused by the explosion has been contained.
The gas explosion damaged several apartments and destroyed the structures between the first and second floors. The affected area was about 550 square meters.
