BEIRUT, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon and Saudi will sign around 21 economic agreements following the formation of the Lebanese government, local media reported on Tuesday.

"A Lebanese delegation will visit Saudi for this purpose after the government formation," Saudi Arabian Charge d'Affaires in Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, was quoted by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper, as saying.

Al-Bukhari's remarks came during his meeting with Mohammad Choucair, head of Lebanon's Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, and Raouf Abou Zaki, head of the Lebanese-Saudi Business Council.

Al-Bukhari said that there will be a great transformation in economic ties between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia after the cabinet formation.

Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri has been facing various hurdles in his attempt to form a 30-member national unity government because of rifts among rival politicians over their representations and shares in the cabinet.

A lot of economic reforms are expected to take place in Lebanon following the formation of the cabinet.
