ACCRA, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- The head coach of the Black Stars, Ghana's senior national male soccer team, Kwesi Appiah Wednesday night named a 20-man squad to face Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
The game will be honored in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Nov. 18.
The Ghanaian side will begin camping in Kenya on Nov. 12 for the encounter as Ghana hopes to revive its qualification campaign after 1-0 loss to Kenya during the round of the qualifiers.
Ghana are placed third on the Group F pecking order with three points, four adrift leaders Kenya and one behind Ethiopia.
The Black Stars however have two outstanding games after their double-header qualifiers against Sierra Leone last month was cancelled.
