A traveller visit the Nolette Chinese Cemetery in Noyelles-sur-Mer, France on Nov. 6, 2018. The Chinese Cemetery and Memorial, in the village of Nolette, is the largest one in Europe. During World War I, some 140,000 Chinese laborers arrived in Europe to provide logistical services to the Allied forces, of which about 20,000 had lost their lives during the war.
