WINDHOEK, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's football coach, Ricardo Mannetti announced a strong 22-men squad which will lock horns with the Black Stars of Ghana in the 2018 Hage Geingob Cup this Saturday at the Sam Nujoma, in Windhoek.
Mannetti on the Namibia Football Association website said included in the squad are three foreign based players, namely, Loydt Kazapua (Maccabi FC, South Africa, Willy Stephanus (AC Kanjaani, Finland) and Benyamin Nenkavu (Buildcon FC, Zambia).
According to the coach his squad aims to keep the cup at home considering his team's good run of form.
"I have kept some players that played a role in our AFCON qualifiers and it's all about the value of the cup and the opponent we facing on Saturday. It is not a normal friendly match. It is the President's Cup and we need to respect that," he added.
The Hage Geingob Cup, which was launched in 2015 is an annual event that honors the country's president.
