YANGON, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- A Myanmar military unit defused a home-made bomb discovered in a market in Yangon on Wednesday, the police said.
A diesel bottle filled with small pieces of nails and connected with wire was found by shop employees plugged at a tailoring shop in the Insein market, a local township police told Xinhua.
The home-made bomb was assumed to have been placed during the market's close hours and the bomb could explode when it was switched on without knowledge, the police said.
