The 30-year-old Li Li, from Madiyi Village of Guanzhuang Town, central China's Hunan Province, went to Shenzhen in 2006. She witnessed the manufacturing industry developing from manual workshop and semi-automation to automatic and intelligent production lines. She also made lots of friends from various parts of China in Shenzhen. Migrant workers have contributed their strengths and talents to the development of cities in the past 40 years of China's reform and opening-up. They worked very hard to improve their professional skills and thus change their life.
