The upper part of the combo photo taken in 2008 shows Wang Xifa working at home in Hengtai Village of Boli County, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The lower part of the combo photo taken on Dec. 13, 2018 shows Wang Xifa ready to deliver food for customers outside a restaurant in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province. The 40-year-old Wang Xifa used to be a farmer in hometown. He went to work in Shenzhen as a food delivery man in 2016. He often works from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. as he wanted to earn a better living for family. Migrant workers have contributed their strengths and talents to the development of cities in the past 40 years of China's reform and opening-up. They worked very hard to improve their professional skills and thus change their life.
