YANGON, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- One person has been killed with 10 others injured in a pilgrimage car crash in Myanmar's southern Bago region, the Home Affairs Ministry said on Monday.
The accident took place in Waw township on Sunday morning.
With 13 passengers aboard, a pilgrimage pickup truck travelling from Kyaikhto to Hpayargyi town lost control and crashed into a car running from the opposite direction on Yangon-Mawlamyaing road at 11:40 a.m. local time.
The injured were brought to the Waw General Hospital for treatment.
Reckless driving was blamed for the accident.
