RIYADH, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia will hold meetings next Sunday to discuss exporting goods to Pakistan, Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
The Saudi Export Development Authority ''Saudi Exports'' will organize meetings of Saudi-Pakistani Trade Mission with the participation of 65 national companies and 35 Pakistani companies, wishing to import Saudi products in food and building materials sectors.
The Secretary-General of the authority Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Abdul Karim highlighted that total Saudi non-oil exports to Pakistan during the last five years amounted to 4.5 billion U.S. dollars.
Saudi Arabia has taken serious steps to diversify its economy and reduce its dependency on oil revenues with a host of business and economic initiatives and projects.
